Baby Liesl came into this world 11/12/13 much to the delight of her parents and 3 brothers, not to mention 2 tickled grandmas. And grandpas from afar.

Her big brothers dote over her and are enjoying getting to help when they can.

 So just that easy just that quick…

a family of five 

turns into a family of six!

Visit to Knoxville

I had a minute alone with my 2 youngest granddaughters in September. I went to Knoxville in September to visit my daughter, Natalie, and her family. I took my daughter, Rachel, and her 2 daughters. Eva is 6 months old and Sarah Grace is 3 months old.



We also took many pictures around the house and in the park. Hannah is 2, sister of Sarah and Sam, 2, and Jackson, 5, are brothers to Eva.

ALL MY GRANDS

Beginning July 6th and ending July 15th, our grandbabies came to Tuscaloosa. What a week!!!
Good for me that all the moms were there most of the time so I just got to do the fun stuff. It is wonderful to see the cousins play together.

The Little Rockers came Friday. The others came Sunday night. Robyn came Monday.

We met, made cookies and a thingamajig. We picked the garden and found a frog and a turtle. Went swimming and went to CHOM.

Sarah Grace

We have a new addition! Sarah Grace NeSmith was born June 15, 2012. WELCOME!!!
Rachel and Stephen had to be at the hospital by 5 am so I drove from the temple and spent the night in Montgomery. I was updated when the drop was started and then all of a sudden she is 10 cm! But still they needed to wait another hour to push. I loaded Hannah in the car. She promptly fell asleep. I drove around and parked under a shade until she woke up. Cathy, Steve, Emily, Laura and Pamma were in the waiting room. I put my phone on speaker with Stephen and got to hear the first cry! So exciting. Then Emily got Stephen on FaceTime and we got the see all right after the birth. Technology! Rachel said she could not believe how easy this birth was. So thankful! Robyn guessed the closest time and Rachel guessed the weight.

It took close to 5 hours before Rachel was put in a room and the baby was cleaned and we were able to hold Sarah Grace. Hannah was afraid of her mama in the hospital bed but very curious about her new sister. She is wearing the Big Sister shirt given to her by Aunt Bev.

The following Friday was Lauren's (Stephen's sister) wedding day. It was fun to spend some time with the NeSmiths during this very exciting first week of Sarah Grace's life.
